04/29/09 After over a week of sitting in the shop with the spare on the Rux finally gets its new set of shoes. The tires we chose are Goodyear F1-GSD3, in my opinion the best all-around street tire that is phenomenal in the wet. Realistically this car should only see track duty in the pouring rain and most of its life will be on the street. This dictates a set of priorities and cosequently the tire choice is obvious.

So far, just driving around, these are much nicer than the stock RE92As and grip much better in both dry and wet conditions. Don't know how long before the Rux sees track duty again and we still need to address the woefully inadequate brakes, but the car is definitely better off for the change.
